Before You Begin

Before you can create a hold type, ensure you have:

• Created roles which can access the hold type. If these have not been created, you can assign them at any time.
  For more information, refer to Application Security Roles.
• Created promotions which will be assigned to the hold type, if applicable. If these have not been created, you can assign them at any time.
  For more information, refer to Product Configuration Promotions.

Creating a Hold Type

To create a new hold type, complete the following:

1. Open the Legends application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the Hold Types tab.
   The Hold Types|Search page appears.
3. Click 'Create New'.
   The Holds Types|Details page appears.
4. Complete the page.
   For more information, refer to Legends Hold Types-Details Page.
5. Click 'Create'.
   A window confirms that the application created the hold type.
6. Click 'OK'.
