Once you have created a hold type, you can modify the hold type if you have the appropriate permissions. Modifying a hold type will have an immediate effect on any templates using the hold type.

To modify a hold type, complete the following:

1. Open the Legends application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the Hold Types tab.
   The Hold Types|Search page appears.
3. Search for and select the hold type that you want to modify. For more information, refer to the Legends Hold Types-Search Page and Performing Searches.
   The Hold Types|Details page displays.
4. Modify the applicable fields.
   For more information, refer to Legends Hold Types-Details Page.
5. Click 'Apply'.
   A window confirms that the application updated the hold type.
6. Click 'OK'.
