Your message is able to be formatted using the Rich Text editor provided with AudienceView. The editor allows you perform the standard editing functions as in most word processors, format text using different text formats, styles, fonts, and sizes. You are also able to insert hyperlinks to other websites and specialty characters.
To build the content of your message using the Rich Text editor:
- Open the Correspondence application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Messages tab.
The Messages|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the message that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Correspondence Messages-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Messages|Basic page appears.
- If you have not previously created the desired message, create the basic information for the message. For more information, refer to Creating a Message.
- Ensure that the 'Source' button is not selected. Selecting the 'Source' button activates the source code view of the message and will not allow you to use the Rich Text editor. For more information, refer to Using the Source Editor to Create the Content of a Message.
- To format text in the message, you may either:
- Select existing text and click the desired format
OR
- Select the desired text format and enter the message text. For more information, refer to Rich Text Formats and Operations for Messages and the sections listed below.
- Once you have entered in the desired formatted text, either:
- Click 'Update Details' for previously saved messages
OR
- Click 'Create' for messages that have not been previously saved.
The message is saved.
