The Sales Report by Series Performance report displays detailed ticket sales information for a series. You can filter this report by performance date enabling you to view sales information for a single performance or across several performances.

Information
A sold ticket is any ticket ordered, paid or unpaid. This does not include requested tickets. |
This report provides the following information:

Event totals and percentages for sold tickets, paid tickets, unpaid tickets, tickets on hold, complimentary tickets (those seats sold with a zero net value) and so on. It also gives you a view of the number of performances, seating capacity and average ticket prices.

The number or tickets sold by price type. Using the report’s criteria, you can view the totals by price type group.

The net income breakdown for the sold tickets by price type. Using the report’s criteria, you can view the net income by price type group.

The total tax paid or due by tax item.
You could use this report on a weekly basis to report on or settle one or more performances. As well, producers could use this report to determine the breakdown of sales for one or more performances.
Sales Report by Series Performance Criteria

Enables you to filter the report by one or more venue selections.
To select more than one venue, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections. |
Series |
Enables you to filter the report by the selected series.
Enter the series name or click to search for the series. For more information, refer to The Find Series Dialog Box. |
Performances From |
Enables you to filter for those performances that occur on or after the date entered.
The application will ignore your entry if you do not enter a value for 'Performances To' date.
Enter a date or relative date into the field or click or to select the date or relative date.

Performances To |
Enables you to filter for those performances that occur on or before the date entered.
The application will ignore your entry if you do not enter a value for 'Performances From' date.
Enter a date or relative date into the field or click or to select the date or relative date.

Performance Code |
Enables you to filter the report by a specific performance.
Enter the performance code or click to search for the performance. For more information, refer to The Find Performances Dialog Box. |
Report on Opens or Holds |
Enables you to filter the report by:

Open Seats and Holds:

If no options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field, open seats and all holds will be returned within the reports results.

If options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field and Exclude Holds is selected from the 'Include or Exclude Selected Holds' dropdown, open seats and all holds except the selected holds will be returned within the report's results.

If options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field and Include Holds is selected from the 'Include or Exclude Selected Holds' dropdown, open seats and only the selected holds will be returned within the report's results.

Open Seats Only: Regardless of the option selected from the 'Include or Exclude Selected Holds' dropdown, or the options selected from the 'Hold Types' field, only open seats will be returned within the report's results.

Holds Only:

If no options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field, all of the holds (and only holds) will be returned within the report's results.

If options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field and Exclude Holds is selected from the 'Include or Exclude Selected Holds' dropdown, all holds except the selected holds will be returned within the report's results.

If options are selected from the 'Hold Types' field and Include Holds is selected from the 'Include or Exclude Selected Holds' dropdown, only the selected holds will be returned within the report's results.

Include or Exclude Selected Holds |
Enables you to choose whether or not to include the holds selected from the 'Hold Type' field in the report's results:

Exclude Selected Holds: Excludes all of the options selected from the 'Hold Type' field from the report's results.

Include Selected Holds: Includes only the options selected from the 'Hold Type' field from the report's results.

Enables you to filter the report by the selected hold types.

Group Price Types by |
Enables you to breakdown the performance’s seating and income information by:

Price Type: provides subtotals by price type (e.g. adult, child).

Price Type Group: provides subtotals by price type group.

Event Totals |
Event sales information including average ticket price, tickets paid, tickets unpaid, complimentary tickets, tickets on hold, and seats on hold.
Zero-Value Comps reflect complimentary tickets (sold seats with a zero total value). Average Ticket Price with Zero-Value Comps reflects the average price of all tickets sold including complimentary tickets, while Average Ticket Price without Zero-Value Comps excludes complimentary ticket sales. |
Seating Breakdown |
The number of sold tickets by price type or price type group. Percentages are calculated based on the total number of tickets sold. |
NET Income Breakdown |
The net value of sold tickets by price type or price type group. This is both paid and unpaid. The net total excludes any service charges or taxes. |
Tax Totals |
The total taxes paid or due for the sold tickets by tax item. The totals include taxes. |
