The Gift Certificates and Gift Cards by Role report displays gift certificate/card values and expiry dates for a range of sales dates and user roles.
Run this report to get a sense of the revenue that is being stored and redeemed through gift certificate/card purchases and redemption. In addition, you can use this report to assess the value of as yet to be redeemed gift certificates/cards for end-of-year closeout and settlement. This report can also help determine gift certificate/card purchases for daily sales reports if required by your organization.

If you are entering a date range, this is the date from which data will be included in the report. This date is inclusive where the starting time will be 0:00:00 on the selected date.
Any value entered into this field will only apply if Date Range is used.

Sales To |
If you are entering a date range, this is the date to which data will be included in the report. This date is inclusive where the end time will be up to 23:59:59 on the selected date.

This is the user who last updated the order.
To select more than one user role group, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections. |

The report displays three sections:

Gift Certificates/Cards Sold: Contains information regarding gift certificates/cards that were sold within the selected date range.

Gift Certificates/Cards Redeemed: Contains information regarding gift certificates/cards that were redeemed within the selected date range.

Gift Cards Reloaded: Contains information regarding gift cards that were reloaded.

Order Number |
The order on which the gift certificate/card was purchased or redeemed, or for gift certificates, the order from which the gift certificate was generated. Click the order number to view the order details.
When a gift certificate is redeemed and there remains a balance on the gift certificate, a new gift certificate is generated with the remaining balance. When a gift card is redeemed, the available balance declines.

The contact associated with the order, if any. |

The number assigned to identify the gift card. |

Recipient Name |
The recipient of the gift certificate/card, if any. |

The amount on the gift certificate/card or the amount redeemed. |
