You can specify the order in which values appear within a list, in any of the following ways:

• Alphabetical order specifies the order string values appear within a list. You can do this using the list’s General Configuration application Lists|Basic page 'Sort Options' dropdown.

• Numeric order specifies the order numeric values appear within a list. You can do this using the list’s General Configuration application Lists|Basic page 'Sort Options' dropdown.

• Set order specifies the order values appear within a list, regardless of the numeric or alphabetical order. You can do this using the list’s General Configuration application Lists|Entries page 'Sorting Hint' field. For more information, refer to Sorting List Values in a Set Order.
