The links to download the scanning app from the AV Community event host portal point to a specific client's branding. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The links to the scanning apps in the preloaded Promote Scan, MV Help - Scan Events and MV on Java Help - Scan Events articles have been updated so that they point to the generic AudienceView branded version. 		 AVD-6770

All roles are being applied to questions.

 This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
Question roles are now set based on Desktop configuration instead of being applied by AV Community.		 AVD-7162
Limit results of the RSS feed. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The RSS feed's results can be limited using the Registry application Registry::EN::Application::Online::RSS::RSS Feed Results node's 'Maximum Number of Results' field. This is set to 200, by default .		 AVD-7560

Desktop Fixes

Unpriced seats are displayed on the Customer Services application Seat|Map page in grey, which now appear as if they are regularly priced seats if a price zone uses grey, making the seats indistinguishable. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
Seats that are not assigned a price zone are displayed transparently with a grey ring around them on theCustomer Services application Seat|Map page. 		 AVD-6098
Add user-friendly text to the interstitial page when users are being redirected by the selected payment method.
This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
When a user is redirected to an external site for payment processing (e.g. PayPal, MasterPass, 3D Secure) the interstitial screen displays a message, indicating that the user is being redirected by the selected payment method. The payment method name is displayed.
 
The message can be configured via the  Registryapplication Registry::EN::Application::Online::3D Secure node's 'Redirection Message' field.

Payments are not being added to renewal orders with gifts when using the Utilities application Renewals tool.

 This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
Payments are being added to renewal orders with gifts through the Utilities application.
The following are some best practices when renewing gift orders with payments:
  1. When creating the renewal job, the 'Payment Type' must be set to either Payment or Both.
  2. The source order(s) for the renewal must have a 'Renewable Payment Method' set on the Customer Services application Order|Summary page.
  3. If the destination gift set in the 'Gift To' field on the Utilities application Renewals|Gifts page has a fixed amount configured, the renewal order will set the renewal gift amount to the fixed amount. If the destination gift does not have a fixed amount configured, the renewal order will set the renewal gift amount to match the gift amount on the source order.

Performances fail to load when lists are not bound to the 'Parent Filters' (i.e. 'Event Genre' and 'Sports', by default). This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
'Parent Fiter' fields no longer require bound lists to load performances. Alternatively, this can issue can be fixed without this HotFix by binding a list to the 'Parent Filter' fields.
If you are binding lists, ensure that the 'Key' values of the parent list match the 'Name' values of the child lists (and are user-friendly).
The 'Child Filter' fields inherit the settings of the 'Parent Filter' (e.g. if the parent is a required field, the child will be as well).
Lists can be bound via the Registry applicationRegistry::EN::Business Objects::TSperformanceBO::Filtersnode.		 AVD-7136

Online Fixes

Search results are being duplicated when articles are assigned to multiple rows. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.

One-time promotion codes do not always clear and can be used again on the same session.  This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
A loophole that allowed one-time promotion codes to be used more than once by navigating back through the flow by less usual routes has been closed, ensuring that the single-use of a promotion code cannot be circumvented by any means. 		 AVD-3360
The payment method 'Name' is appearing in parentheses after its 'Label', where more than one payment label has the same 'Label' configured. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The payment method 'Name' is no longer displayed after the 'Label'.		 AVD-3363
When a price zone only has one price point, the price is appearing as a range on the mapSelect.asp page (e.g. instead of $55.00 it is displayed as $55.00 - $55.00).  This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
When the minimum and maximum prices are the same, a single price is displayed on the mapSelect.asp instead of a range.		 AVD-4967
CAPTCHA audio should not require QuickTime plug-in to play sound on modern browsers. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
Improved the CAPTCHA audio play method so that it now plays in a wide range of browsers without needing an additional browser plug-in for .WAV audio
However, some browsers will always require a plug-in to play the .WAV files delivered by this CAPTCHA method.		 AVD-6480
The redeemOffers.asp page does not allow online customers to expand their selection of seats.  This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The buttons for expanding and collapsing the list of seats on offer have been made easier to see and understand. The expand/collapse arrows are now a single button toggle (toggling between Hide and Show). The Hide/Show labels can be configured in the Registry application Registry::EN::Application::Online::Offers nodes 'Hide' and 'Show' fields.		 AVD-6544

The Google Tag Manager configuration is causing Internal 500 error upon customers log in (i.e. the customer object has not been loaded).

 This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The Internal 500 error no longer occurs. The Google Tag Manager integration will only output the customer number into the dataLayer when the customer object is loaded. 		 AVD-7246
The _ga parameter is not available. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
To facilitate cross domain link tracking using Google Tag Manager and Universal Analytics _ga parameter has been made available to the AudienceView Online.		 AVD-7383
Questions are not being displayed in the correct 'Rank' order. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
When there are multiple questions in a given level (i.e. order level or admission level) they are presented in the order defined by questions' 'Rank' fields.
Required questions are no longer being presented first.
Questions are now ordered using the following criteria:
  • Question with a 'Rank' set are sorted in ascending order.
  • Questions without a 'Rank' are presented after ranked questions.
  • When no 'Rank' has been defined or when multiple questions have the same 'Rank' value, they will be sorted alphabetically in ascending order.
  • The 'Rank' order rules for questions are followed consistently for all of the UI and reports.

Business Intelligence and Reports Fixes

Date range values are being swapped after saving BI queries  This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
Currency, integer and rates are sorted by value as they always have been.
 
All other field types (e.g. relative dates) are now sorted in the order that they are entered.
 
When using a 'Condition' of Between or Not in Range, enter the lowest value on the left, and the higher value on the right.
 
If you have existing range criteria in use, ensure that the values are entered correctly.

Remove direct usage ofts_admission_inventory table from everywhere except Seat Service.

This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.

The following fields/criteria have been removed from Business Intelligence:
  • admissioninventory_reservation_id
  • admissioninventory_on_offer_id
  • admissioninventory_reservation_timeout
  • The 'state' field On Offer value cannot be determined without admissioninventory_on_offer_timeout field from ts_admission_inventory

The Donation Sales by Date report is doubling pledges when a fund is changed on an existing gift.  This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.

The Not in Range 'Function' is not evaluating the values entered correctly. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The Not in Range 'Function' values are now being evaluated correctly.
The lower end of the range should be entered in the 'Value' field on the left-hand side, the higher end of the range should be entered in the right-hand 'Value' field.		 AVD-7481
The My Past Event Attendees BI query does not work properly and should be removed. This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
The My Past Event Attendees BI query has been removed, and will be replaced in a future release.		 AVD-7950

Payment Fixes

Implement Boost.asio for Tender Retail payment gateway This has been corrected in AV Community 1.9.0.
A new parameter was introduced to set the value for socket receive timeout when using PIN pads withe Tender Retail.
The parameter was added to the Registry application System::Configuration::Payment Gateways::TenderRetail node's 'PIN Pad timeout'. It is set to 120 (seconds), by default.		 AVD-6981
