You may need to create two or more venues that are nearly identical (e.g. a single arena set up with different lower bowl seating arrangements to accommodate multiple sports). The quickest way to create two or more similar venues is to create one, make a copy of it and then edit the copy as required.

If you know you will be creating more than one copy of a venue, you may be able to save time by creating only the seats common to both venues, making your copies and then completing each venue. This will prevent you from having to delete large quantities of seats. |
The copy a venue, complete the following:

Open the Venue Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
The Venue|Search page appears.

Search for and select the venue that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Venue Configuration Venue|Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Venue|Basic page appears.

Enter a name for the new venue in the 'Name' field.
When you copy a venue, the templates from the original venue are not copied to the new venue.

Modify the applicable fields.

Click 'Save Copy'.
A window confirms that the application created the venue.

Click 'OK'.
