Once you have created a site brand, you must apply it to the appropriate site/article/message link(s).
After you insert a link in a site menu item/article/message (refer to Adding Direct Links to Performances, Bundles, Articles and Miscellaneous Items in a Menu or Submenu, Inserting Direct Links to Performances, Bundles, Articles, Miscellaneous Items and Gifts in an Article and Building Links to Performances, Bundles, Articles and Miscellaneous Items in a Message), you must click 'Source' and add the branding name to the end of the URL.

If the URL does not contain a ?, then enter ?brandingName=Brand Name.

If the URL does contain a ?, then enter &brandingName=Brand Name.
where Brand Name is the value entered in the 'Name' field of the Content Management application Sites|Branding page.

Caution
Special characters (-, ., ', ", /, etc.) and spaces cannot be used in the 'Name' field. The corresponding site branding will not render properly. |
