Before AudienceView can print Fortress-compatible tickets and passes, you must provide details pertaining to the Fortress-enabled printers AudienceView should use.

Caution The printer name in AudienceView must match the PrinterCode in Fortress. For field mappings between AudienceView and Fortress, refer to Fortress to AudienceView Configuration Mappings.

To configure a Fortress printer within AudienceView, complete the following:

1. Open the Registry from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Navigate to the System::Configuration::Printers node.
3. Click 'New Node'.
   A new printer node appears.
4. Specify the name of the Fortress-compatible printer in the 'Node Name' field.

   Caution The 'Node Name' value must match a PrinterCode value in Fortress.

5. Select Remote Printer from the 'Type' dropdown.
6. Select Fortress from the 'Gateway' dropdown.
7. Specify the name of the Fortress-compatible printer in the 'Name' field.
8. Select Card Stock (stock configured in Configuring Fortress Stock) from the 'Stock' dropdown.
9. Click 'Apply'.
   A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
10. Click 'OK'.
