Caution The XSL Templates|Edit page uses XSL and JavaScript only. It is understood that to edit the XSL templates, you have a basic knowledge of XSL and/or JavaScript and their appropriate tag format and content.

To create an XSL template, complete the following:

1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the XSL Templates tab.
   The XSL Templates|Search page appears.
3. Click 'Create New'.
   The XSL Templates|Edit page appears.
4. Enter a name for the XSL template in the 'Name' field.
5. Select the template type from the 'Template Type' dropdown (e.g. order confirmation, order failure)
6. Select a programming language that you will be using for the template, XSL or JavaScript, from the 'Template Engine' dropdown.
7. Select a the output type from the 'Content Type' dropdown (e.g. AVDOC, CSV, HTML).
8. Enter the content of the XSL Template in the programming language that was selected from the 'Template Engine' dropdown (XSL or JavaScript) in the XSL Template section.
9. Click 'Create'.
   A window confirms that the application created the XSL template.
10. Click 'OK'.
