The Customers|Add Offers Page

The Customers|Add Offers page allows you to add offers to a collection of selected customers en masse, providing them with an offer that can contain bundles, performances, gifts and miscellaneous items. Once a customer query has been performed from the Customers|Query Select page, the resultant list of customers are able to have an offer sent to them, available for acceptance either through the desktop application or through web sales.

The number of results from the query are displayed in the Search Results display box. This is the number of customers that will receive the offer.

In the Create Offers With group box, you can detail the name of the offer, the start and end dates for which the offer will be valid, and if necessary, the promotion code that must be used to access the offer.

The Seat Parameters group box allows you to select the specific performance or bundle you want to offer to the customers from the result of the query. You can select one or more performances, or one or more bundles, but not a combination of both performances and bundles. Only a list of performances or a list of bundles can be offered at once. You can determine the price type for the offer by using the 'Add Price Type' button. You can also make the selection of seats for the offer more specific by using the 'same seat' option, selecting a desired price zone from the 'Price Zone' multi-select box and also selecting a desired hold type to select seats from a particular hold type by selecting it from the 'Hold Type' dropdown in the Seat Option group box.

You can also attach gifts and miscellaneous items to the offer by adding them using the selection tools found in the Gift Parameters and Miscellaneous Item Parameters group boxes respectively.

Once all the offer parameters have been selected, you can create the offers for all of the retrieved customers from the query or a smaller set of manually-selected customers from the result set.

Search Results Section

The Search Results section of the Customers|Add Offers page, specifies the following:

  • The number of customers you are providing this offer to.
  • The total number of customers the corresponding Customer Offer Search Query returned.

Create Offers With Section

The Create Offers With section of the Customers|Add Offers page, specifies the name and type of promotion or offer you are providing to the selected customers.

This section includes the following properties:

Field Description
Offer Name Unique identifier for the offer.
Description
Description of and details about the offer.
Start Date Start date for the offer. Enter the date or relative date or click  or  to select a date.

End Date End (expiration) date for the offer. Enter the date or a relative date or click  or  to select a date.

Promotional Code Promotional code associated with the offer. Click  to select a promotional code. For more information, refer to The Find Promotion Codes Dialog Box

Seat Parameters Section

The Seat Parameters section of the Customers|Add Offers page, specifies the admissions included with bundle or performance offers.

This section includes the following properties:

Field Description
Offer Option Item types included with the offer.
By default this list includes the following types:
  • Bundle: Indicates that the offer includes a bundle. When selected, fields will display that allow you to select a bundle and performances.
  • Performance: Indicates that the offer includes a performance. When selected, fields will display that allow you to select a performances.
Price Types Number and type of admissions provided for the corresponding bundle or performances.
Options Specifies whether the same seat is provided for every performance included within the offer.
Price Zone Specifies the price zone this offer’s admissions are applicable for.
Hold Type Specifies the type of held seats this offer’s admissions are applicable for.

Gift Parameters Section

The Gift Parameters section of the Customers|Add Offers page, specifies the recommended pledges included with a gift offer.

Field Description
Gift Name of the fundraising gift. Click  to select a gift.
Appeal Name of the fundraising appeal included in the offer.
Fund Name of the account all funds raised for this appeal are deposited.
Amount Recommended pledge amount.

Charge Parameters Section

The Charge Parameters section of the Customers|Add Offers page, specifies the miscellaneous items included with a miscellaneous items offer.

Field Description
Miscellaneous Name of the miscellaneous item included in the offer. Click  to select an miscellaneous item.
Quantity Total number of the corresponding miscellaneous items included in the offer.
