Deleting a User Attribute

If you have added an attribute to a subsystem, you can delete the attribute if you have the appropriate permissions.

To delete an existing user attribute, complete the following:

  1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
    The User|Search page appears.
  2. Search for and select the user that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Application Security Users-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The User|Basic page appears.
  3. Click the Attributes tab.
    The User|Attributes page appears.
  4. Select the subsystem you want to work with from the list on the left side of the page. Subsystems with an attribute are highlighted in blue.
  5. Select the 'Delete?' check box for the attribute that you want to delete.
  6. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the user.
  7. Click 'OK'.
