Once you have assigned a permission to a subsystem, you can modify the permission if you have the approriate permissions.

Information Modifications to permissions will take effect the next time the user logs on to the application.

To modify an existing user permission, complete the following:

1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
   The Users|Search page appears.
2. Search for and select the user that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Application Security - Users|Search Page and Performing Searches.
   The Users|Basic page appears.
3. Select the Permissions tab.
   The Users|Permissions page appears.
4. Select the subsystem that you want to work with from the list on the left side of the page. Subsystems with a permission or filter are highlighted in blue.
5. Modify the actions and filters as required:
   • To add or remove an action, hold down CTRL and click the action in the 'Actions' field. Highlighted items are actions enabled for the user.
   • To add a filter, refer to Applying User Filters to Subsystems.
   • To remove a filter, refer to Deleting a User Filter.
6. For each subsystem that you want to work with, repeat the process from Step 4.
7. Click 'Apply'.
   A window confirms that the application updated the user.
8. Click 'OK'.
