Deleting Performances or Bundles from Orders in a Batch

You can delete events and/or bundles from orders if tickets for the events and/or bundles have not been printed (or Warning Message 5282: You are attempting to release seats that have been printed. Doing so will cancel the printed tickets. You must reload the order to undelete the seat. Continue? is suppressed for the role) and you have the permission to do so.

The application will let you choose whether to remove all performance, all bundles or all performances and bundles. However, you cannot remove only selected performances or bundles from orders.

To delete performances or bundles from orders, complete the following:

  1. Open the Utilities application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Orders tab.
    The Orders|Query Select page appears.
    Your organization may have additional queries created using the Business Intelligence and Reports application.
  3. Select General Order Update from the Order Update section.
    The query opens in the Orders|Order Update page.
  4. Search for the orders that you want to work with. For more information, refer to Searching for Orders to Update in a Batch.
    The select orders section appears.
  5. To remove admissions and/or bundles from only selected orders, in the select orders section, select the check box next to each order you want to update.
    Click 'Select All' to select all of the orders on the current page. This will not select orders on other pages. If you want to update all of the search results, you can choose 'Delete All' at the end of this procedure.
  6. Enter a reason for releasing the seats in the 'Cancel Reason' field.
  7. Next to the 'suppress warning messages' field, if required select the check box for each warning that you want to accept while the batch runs.
    Warnings will prevent the batch from completing.
  8. Choose an option:
If you want to remove Then
the selected performances and bundles from the orders, click 'Delete Selected'.
only performances or only bundles from the orders you have selected, click next to 'Delete Selected' and select Performances Only or Bundles Only.
all performances and bundles from all orders returned in your search, click 'Delete All'.
only performances or only bundles from all orders returned in your search, click next to 'Delete All' and select Performances Only or Bundles Only.

The batch results section appears at the bottom of the page indicating the progress of the batch. When completed, "Batch Run Completed!" appears.
