Seat maps enable you to provide a visual representation of your venue or performance’s seat layout. By default, a venue’s seat map is defined for all performances associated with the corresponding venue.
You can add seat maps to AudienceView Kiosk as static background images. Static background images provide an outline of your venue. By default, AudienceView Kiosk displays the venue’s Detailed Image or performance’s Alternate Detailed Image.

To enable customers to view your seat map, complete the following:
- If required, create a seatMapImages folder in the %AudienceView%\UI\Online directory.
For example, C:AudienceView\UI\Online\seatMapImages.
- Save your seat map image as a jpeg.
- Place your seat map image into the %AudienceView%\UI\Online\seatMapImages directory.
- Associate this seat map image with the appropriate venue or performance. To do this, specify the name and location of the seat map image in either of the following:
- Venue Configuration application Venue|Basic page 'Detailed Image' field.
