Creating a Payment Fee

Once you have created a producer, you can create a producer payment fees at any time, if you have the appropriate permissions. Payment fees deduct a percentage of the proceeds that have been collected via the selected payment method.

To create a payment fee, complete the following:

  1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Producers tab.
    The Producers|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the producer that you want to add a payment fee to. For more information, refer to the General Configuration Producers-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Producers|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Fees tab.
    The Producers|Fees page appears.
  5. Click 'New Payment Fee'
    A payment fee row appears.
  6. Complete the following fields:
    1. Name: Enter a name for the payment fee.
    2. Rate: Enter the percentage that will be deducted from the selected payment method.
      The rate must include a percentage symbol (%).
    3. Payment Method: Select the payment method that will have the percentage deducted from it.
      It is recommended that you create a payment method with a distinct name so that producer payment fees can be tracked.
  7. For every payment fee that you want to add, repeat the process from Step 5.
  8. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the producer.
  9. Click 'OK'.
