Reloading a Gift Card or Loading an Account on an Order

To reload a gift card or an account, complete the following:

  1. Open the Customer Services application from the AudienceView Desktop.
    The Customer|Search page appears.
  2. Search for and select the customer you want to work with.
    For more information, refer to Searching for a Customer or Contact.
    The Customer|Basic page appears. If the customer account has more than one contact, the Customer|Advanced page appears.
  3. Click 'Add to Order'.
    The Orders|Summary page appears.
  4. Click 'Reload Gift Card/Account' to reload a gift card or customer account.
    The Reload Gift Card/Account window appears.
    The Reload and Reload Fixed types of gift cards/accounts will appear in the Stored Value Item column.
  5. Select the gift certificate/card that you want to add to order. If the gift certificate/card type you select is:
    • Reload: Pre-set amounts will appear in the 'Amount' dropdown on the Order|Summary page, but these amounts can be altered by typing an amount into the 'amount' field.
    • Reload Fixed: The pre-set amounts in the 'Amount' dropdown will be fixed and cannot be altered.
  6. To search for a specific card to reload or to see the remaining balance, enter the gift card number into the 'Number' field and/or the gift card redemption number into the 'Redemption Number' field and click 'Inquiry'.
  7. Click 'Add to Order'.
    The Reload Gift Card/Account window closes and the gift card/account appears in the gift certificates/cards section of the Order|Summary page.
