Removing Gift Certificates and Gift Cards from an Order

You can remove a gift certificate/card from an order as long as the gift certificate/card has not been redeemed and you have appropriate permissions.

To delete a gift certificate/card from an order, complete the following:

  1. Open the Customer Services application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Order tab.
    The Order|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the order that you want to work with. For more information, refer to Searching for an Order.
    The Order|Summary page appears.
  4. Select the 'del?' check box to the left of the certificate details.
  5. Click 'Update Details'.
    The application removes the gift certificate/card and updates the Amount Due.
  6. If a refund is required, update the payment details to reflect the refund or credit the customer account.

  7. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the order.
  8. Click 'OK'.
