Setting the Default Customer User Group

Customer who create their own accounts online are automatically assigned to the default role set up in the Registry.

Information
If you do not want Desktop users to be able to assign customers to any group other than the default one, set the Registry application Registry::EN::Business Objects::TScustomerBO::User::Group node's 'Readable' dropdown to Yes and 'Writeable' dropdown to No.

To set the default group, complete the following:

  1. Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TScustomerBO::User::Group node.
  3. Select the default group from the 'Default Value' dropdown.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
  5. Click 'OK'.
