Deleting a Bundle Version Element

 

You can delete an element from a version if the version has an effective date in the future or if you are editing a new version, and you have the approriate permissions. If you want to delete an element from a version that is currently effective, you must create a new version. For more information, refer to Creating a Bundle Version.

To delete an element, complete the following:

  1. Open the Product Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Bundles tab.
    The Bundles|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the bundle with the version element that you want to delete. For more information, refer to the Product Configuration Bundles|Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Bundles|Details page appears. The versions section displays the versions.
  4. Select the version effective in the future that you want to work with or create a new version.

  5. Select the Elements tab.
    The Bundles|Elements page appears.
  6. Select the element that you want to delete from the element dropdown.
  7. Select the 'Delete?' check box in the element section.
  8. Modify the other elements as required. The minimum number of performances (Bundles|Details page) must be greater than or equal to the sum the performance minimums for all elements.
  9. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the bundle.
  10. Click 'OK'.
