Utilities - Offers|Offer Update Page

Once a query is selected from the Utilities application Offers|Query Select page, you can search for offers that have been made to customers and update the offers en masse. This is useful when wanting to update a statuses or key dates on offers. For example, you may want to set the status of all Declined offers to Closed to indicate that the offer is no longer valid.

The query criteria is entered in the fields in the Offer Update group box. Once the query is run, you can select some or all of the desired offers from the Select Offers group box.

Offer Update Section

The offer update section of the Utilities application Offers|Offer Update page contains the following properties:

Field Description
Customer Number Enables you to filter the search based on the a range of customer numbers.
Offer Name Enables you to filter the search based on the name of the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Start Date Enables you to filter the search based on a range of dates in which the offer began.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or select a date by clicking or next to the field.

End Date Enables you to filter the search based on a range of dates in which the offer will end.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or select a date by clicking or next to the field.

Offer Gift Appeal Name Enables you to filter the search based on the appeal name included in the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Offer Gift Fund Name Enables you to filter the search based on the fund name included in the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Bundle Name Enables you to filter the search based on the bundle name included in the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Performance Code Enables you to filter the search based on the performance code(s) included in the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Promotion ID Enables you to filter the search based on any promotions included in the offer.
Enter the promotion(s) into the field or click to search for the promotion(s).

Offer Item Name Enables you to filter the search based on the name of the miscellaneous item included in the offer.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Page Size Enables you to specify the number of records to display per page returned in the results.
Search Type Enables you to choose the appropriate type of matches that you are expecting:
  • Match Any: When you want to search for records containing one or more of the search terms you selected.
  • Match All: When you want to search for records that contain all of the search terms you selected.

Select Offer Updates Section

The select offer update section of the Utilities application Offers|Offer Update page contains the following properties:

Field Description
Start Date The initial date the offer is made.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or select a date by clicking or next to the field.

End Date The date the offer ends.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or select a date by clicking or next to the field.
For more information, refer to Using the Calendar to Select a Date and Using Relative Dates and Times.
Promotion Code The promotion code used to access the offer.
Select the promotion(s) from the dropdown or click to search for the promotion(s).
For more information, refer to The Find Promotion Codes Dialog Box.
Offer Status The status of the offer be it Open, Declined or Closed.
Decline Reason The reason the offer is declined (e.g. No Response from Customer).
Response Date The date by which the customer must respond.
Enter the date or relative date in the field or select a date by clicking or next to the field.

Now you can update all of the selected or all of the returned offers.
