Once you have created an attribute, you can modify the attribute if you have the appropriate permissions.

To modify an existing user attribute, complete the following:

1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
   The User|Search page appears.
2. Search for and select the user that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Application Security Users-Search Page and Performing Searches.
   The User|Basic page appears.
3. Select the Attributes tab.
   The User|Attributes page appears.
4. Select the subsystem that you want to work with from the list on the left side of the page. Subsystems with an attribute are highlighted in blue.
5. Modify the attribute as required:
   • To add an attribute, refer to Assigning a User Attribute.
   • To remove an attribute, refer to Deleting a User Attribute.
6. For each subsystem that you want to work with, repeat the process from Step 4.
7. Click 'Apply'.
   A window confirms that the application updated the user.
8. Click 'OK'.
