Setting PDF Printing Preferences

Foxit Reader PDF Printing Preferences

Information
Remember, after installing Firefox and Foxit Reader make sure that you install the web page fixer add-on.

To set the Foxit Reader printing preferences, complete the following:

  1. Open a the sample PDF file with Foxit Reader.
  2. Open the File menu and select Print.
  3. Set following options:
    1. Select Actual Size from the 'Page Scaling' dropdown.
    2. Select None from the 'Page Arragne' dropdown.
    3. Select Normal from the 'Page Rotate' dropdown.
    4. Ensure that the 'Auto-Rotate' and 'Auto-Center' check boxes are not selected.
  4. Click 'OK'.
Information
If you do not configure the preferences above the very first time you print the PDF, each time that you try to open the file with Foxit to change the preferences, the file will be sent to the printer automatically. To change the perferences, change the extension of a tickets.avpdf to be just tickets.pdf. You can now open the file and set the preferences.

Adobe Reader PDF Printing Preferences

To set the Adobe Reader printing preferences, complete the following:

  1. Open the ticket.avpdf file with the Adobe Reader.
  2. Set following options:
    1. Select None from the 'Page Scaling' dropdown.
    2. Ensure that the 'Auto-Rotate and Center' check box is not selected.
  3. Click 'OK'.
