You can change or release holds, price zones or fill zones for one or more performances if you have the appropriate permissions.

Information You cannot modify a held seat associated to a hold type to which your role does not have access.

To change or release holds, price zones or fill zones, complete the following:

1. Open the Utilities application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the Performance tab.
   The Performance|Templates page appears.
3. Search for and select the performances you want to work with.
   For more information, refer to Searching for Performances to Update in a Batch.
4. Select the performances you want to update in the matching performances section.
   Click 'Select All' to select all of the performances on the current page. This will not select performances on other pages. You cannot select offers across multiple pages. If the two or more offers that you want to select do not appear on the same page, increase the 'Page Size' to search again or narrow your search by modifying your search criteria.
5. In the update performance templates section, select the radio button corresponding to the 'Hold Value', 'Price Value' or 'Fill Value' that you want to change or release.

   Hint You can change multiple price zones, hold types or fill zones to a single new value at the same time. However, if you want to change the price zone, hold type or fill zone to multiple new values, you must do so one at time.

6. Select the hold, price or fill zone that you want to change or release from the appropriate From list.
7. Select the hold, price or fill zone that you want to update the selection to from the appropriate 'To' dropdown.
   To release holds, select the blank option from the To list.
8. Use the update performance templates - additional criteria to further specify the seats to update.
   For more information, refer to Update Performance Templates Section.
9. To update those seats already sold, select the 'Update Sold Seats?' check box.
10. Click 'Update Selected Performances'.
    A window prompts you confirm the update to the selected admissions.
11. Click 'OK'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the admissions.
12. Click 'OK'.

Example – Changing Hold Types for Specific Seats

In the following example, Performance A and Performance B will have seats A14-17 on the Main Floor changed from House Hold seats to Sponsor Hold seats.

The application will only update those seats that were House Hold seats. For example, if seat A17 was not a House Hold seat, the application would only change seats A14-16.

Example – Adding Seats to a Hold Type

In the following example, seat S13 on the Main Floor, which is currently not assigned a hold type, is assigned as a House Hold for Performance A and Performance B.

In this example, by not selecting a value from the Hold Value ID From list, we can assign a seat a hold type.
