Gift Details Section

The gift details section of the Funds Management application Gifts|Details page consists of the following properties:
Field |
Description |
Name |
Enter a unique (to the program, different than the fund) name for the gift.
If a value is not entered in the 'Short Description' field, the 'Name' will be displayed to Online customers. |
Description |
Enter a description of the gift.
This field is only displayed in the AudienceView Desktop. |
Short Description |
Enter a brief description of the gift.
The 'Short Description' is displayed to Online customers. If a value is not entered in this field, the 'Name' will be displayed. |
Amount |
Enter the amount of the gift. |
Category |
Enter a name that you want to use to categorize/group gifts.
Gift categories are used to categorize/group gifts to help filter customer searches. They can also be used to search in the Business Intelligence and Reports application.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry. |
Value Type |
Enables you to choose the appropriate type of value you would like to use:
- Fixed: Sets the donation value to a specific monetary amount.
- Recommended: Sets a recommended donation value.

Receiptable Amount |
The percentage of the gift that is receiptable.

Caution
You must enter % in the field. |

Logo [1-2] |
Enter the absolute URL (including https://) to the image that you want to display when the gift is returned in search results in AudienceView Online using the Search Results Widget - Detailed and Search Results Widget - Detailed, Grid Layout widgets. For more information, refer to Inserting the Search Results Widgets.
Acceptable image types include .JPG, .GIF and .PNG. For more information, refer to Search Image Guidelines.
Click to ensure that the URL is linking to the correct image.
As of AudienceView 6.8.15, if an image is added to 'Logo 1' and the gift is configured as a suggested gift, the image will appear in the suggested gift pop-up.

Additional Info |
Enter the URL of the article that you want to display when a customer clicks on an additional info hyperlink, or click to search for and select the article.
For more information, refer to The Find Articles Dialog Box.
Click to verify that the correct article will be displayed.
As of AudienceView 6.8.7, you can enable site-wide social widgets (i.e. Facebook Like, Twitter Tweet and Google+ +1 buttons) to appear online. If the site-wide social widgets have been enabled, the widgets will appear for gifts that have an article/link configured in the 'Additional Info' field. |
Assigned Pass |
Select a pass to assign to the gift from the dropdown. |
Payment Method |
The payment method(s) that can be used to purchase the gift.
If an order contains multiple items with different payment methods, only the payment methods that all order items have in common will be available. For example, if an admission has three payment methods available to it (i.e. Cash, Visa and MasterCard) and a gift has one payment method available to it (i.e. Visa), then only the common payment method(s) (i.e. Visa) will be available on the order.
To select more than one payment method, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections. |
Association |
Specifies the relationship between the gift and any customers who make a donation using the gift, so that customers can more accurately be targeted for marketing purposes.

Sales Type |
The sales type field is used as an additional filter for Online search results via the Content Management application Article|Criteria page. This field does not affect the way that gifts are collected.
Select how you want to be able to filter the gift in search results:
- Add-on: The gift can be filtered as an additional item to the shopping cart (for add-on articles).
- Primary: The gift can be filtered normally.
- Upsell: The gift can be filtered as a recommended better option than the one currently selected in the shopping cart (for upsell articles).
To select more than one sales type, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections.

Upsell Article |
Enter the name of the Upsell article that you want to display to AudienceView Online and Desktop users when they select the gift, or click to search for and select it.
A hyperlink to the upsell article will be displayed on the shopping cart page, and the Customer Services application Order|Summary page.

Add-on Article |
Enter the name of the Add-on article that you want to display to customers after the gift has been added to the shopping cart, or click to search for and select it.
A hyperlink to the add-on article will be displayed on the shopping cart page, and the Customer Services application Order|Summary page.

Rank |
Enter a number to determine where this gift would be ranked (in ascending order) if multiple gifts are suggested against a particular item. |
Suggested Gift Criteria Section
The suggested gift criteria section allows you configure the gift to display a pop-up to customers when they add one of the configured items to their order.

Suggested Gift Roles |
Select the roles that you want to suggest the gift to.
To select more than one role, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections.

Information
If you select a role, but do not complete any of the other fields in the suggested gift criteria section, the gift will be the default gift for the role (e.g. if you select Internet, the gift will be suggested to all Online customers. Any other suggested gifts (i.e. on performances, bundles and miscellaneous items) override the default gift. |

Suggested Gift Performances |
If a customer adds performance(s) assigned in this field to an order, a pop-up will display asking customers if they would like to make a donation.
Enter the name of the performance that you want to suggest the gift or click to search for and select it.
For more information, refer to The Find Performances Dialog Box. |
Suggested Gift Bundles |
If a customer adds bundle(s) assigned in this field to an order, a pop-up will display asking customers if they would like to make a donation.
Enter the name of the bundle that you want to suggest the gift or click to search for and select it.
For more information, refer to The Find Bundles Dialog Box.

Information
Bundle level suggested gifts will search the contents of the bundle for the highest ranked suggested gift. If a suggested gift within the bundle out ranks the bundle's suggested gift, that gift will be displayed. |

Suggested Gift Miscellaneous Items |
If a customer adds miscellaneous item(s) assigned in this field to an order, a pop-up will display asking customers if they would like to make a donation.
Enter the name of the bundle that you want to suggest the gift or click to search for and select it.

Hint
Suggested gifts are displayed in their 'Rank' order. The gift with the highest rank will be displayed.

Points Section
The points section of the Funds Management application Gifts|Details page specifies the points donors receive towards earning a membership.

Enter a name or brief description for this points version.

Enter the date on which points can begin being accrued through the gift.

Enables you to store additional information specific to your organization.
Any data entered into these fields is searchable through Business Intelligence. To modify a data field label, navigate to the Registry application Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSgiftBO::Gifts node and select the field that you want to re-label. |
Multidata [1-2] |
Enables you to store additional information specific to your organization.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Any data entered into these fields is searchable through Business Intelligence. To modify a multidata field label, navigate to the Registry application Registry::EN::Business Objects::TSgiftBO::Gifts node and select the field that you want to re-label. |
Keywords |
Enter any keywords that you want to have associated to this gift for search purposes.

Enter a number to rank the gift, indicating its display order on the site. Gifts are ranked in descending order (i.e. 4 will be ranked before 1). |
