Adding a Charge Location

To add location to charge, complete the following:

  1. Open the Product Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Charges tab.
    The Charges|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the charge that you want to add a location to. For more information, refer to Product Configuration Charges-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Charges|Details page appears.
  4. Click 'Add Entry'.
    A new location row appears.
  5. Complete the following fields:
    1. Condition:
      • Include: Includes the charge for the desired location.
      • Exclude: Excludes the charge for the desired location.
    2. Address Field: Allows you to select which address field that the charge will be looking for to determine the location (city, country, county, state, street, zip).
    3. Address Values: Set the value that the charge location will look for (e.g. if country was set in the 'Address Field', you would enter the name of the country to which the charge would be applied, so Canada or USA.
      To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry. This will allow you to apply the charge to multiple locations or allow you to included varied spellings (e.g. USA, U.S.A., US, United States of America).
  6. For every location line that you would like to add, repeat the process from Step 4.
  7. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the charge.
  8. Click 'OK'.
