Adding a Cap to a Charge

If a cap is not set against a charge, it is assumed that the charge will be applied per item (e.g admission, miscellaneous item). If you want the charge to be applied a limited number of times you need to create a charge cap.

For example, if you want a per order transaction fee of $5.00 charged on all Internet orders:
  1. Create a new charge.
For more information, refer to Creating a Charge.
  2. On the Charges|Caps page, set a cap of 1 for the Internet role.
  3. On the Charges|Pricing page, set the threshold for the Internet role to $5.00.
  4. Add the charge to your price charts for all price types, with the 'Calculation' set to Order.
For more information, refer to Adding Charges to a Price Chart.
