Enabling Logged-in Users to View Recommendations

To enable logged-in users (members of the WebSales group) to view recommendations, complete the following:

  1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Group tab.
    The Group|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the WebSales group. For more information, refer to Application Security Group-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Group|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Content tab.
    The Group|Content page appears.
  5. Select the Online or Mobile property.
    Content currently visible to registered Online/Mobile users appears.
  6. To enable logged-in users to view recommendations in their shopping carts, select shoppingCart Recommendations by holding CTRL while clicking on it.
  7. To enable logged-in users to view recommendations in their My Account pages, select My Account Recommendations by holding CTRL while clicking on it (this option is not currently available for AudienceView Mobile).
    Information
    If you do not hold CTRL while making your selection all of the options that are currently selected will be deselected.
  8. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the group.
  9. Click 'OK'.
