You can define in the Registry the default background colours used to notify users of the status of a scanned ticket/pass/miscellaneous item. The default colours are as follows:
- Green (#009900): For successful scans. You can also configure this colour by price type. For more information, refer to Setting Successful Scan Colours by Price Type.
- Red (#FF0000): For failed scans. You can also configure this colour by error type. For more information, refer to Setting Failed Scan Colours by Error Code.
- Yellow (#FFFF00): For informational scans (that is checking the ticket’s status without marking the ticket).
When setting the scan colours, you must know the hexadecimal value of the colour. A hexadecimal value consists of a number sign (#) followed by a six-digit hexadecimal number specifying the Red, Green, and Blue combination (RGB). For example, #000000 is black, {#FFFFFF is white, and #FF0000 is red. You can search the Internet for hexidecimal colour codes.
