AudienceView Charting

AudienceView Charting provides the ability to produce colourful and vibrant animated and interactive graphs and charts that enable you to disseminate critical financial information in an easy to understand format for internal consumption. AudienceView Charting can be customized to fit your organization's needs (much like reports). For more information, contact AudienceView Support via the Support Portal at http://support.audienceview.com. If you do not have a 'User Name' or 'Password' send an email to support@audienceview.com.

AudienceView Charting also allows you to create JavaScript based charts (sometimes also referred to as HTML5/Canvas charts). This feature allows you to create charts in web browsers where Flash Player is not supported (e.g. in iPhone/iPad).

AudienceView Charting allows you to create the following charts:

  • A Bar Graph (text/html): A standard bar graph.
  • A Multi-bar Graph (text/html): A graph with multiple bars.
  • A Multi-line Graph (text/html): A graph with multiple plotted lines.
  • A Pie Chart (text/html): A standard pie chart. You can explode a slice of the pie chart by clicking on it.

The following pages describe how to work with AudienceView Charts:

Caution
In Flash Player 10, the maximum size for a chart is 8,192 pixels in width or height, and the total number of pixels cannot exceed 16,777,216 (i.e. if a chart is 8,192 pixels wide, it can only be 2,048 pixels high). In earlier versions of Flash Player, the limitation is 2,880 pixels in height and 2,880 pixels in width.
