Caution The XSL Templates|Edit page uses XSL and JavaScript only. It is understood that to edit the XSL templates, you have a basic knowledge of XSL and/or JavaScript and their appropriate tag format and content.

To alter the type of chart that will be generated when an abstract is run, complete the following:

1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the XSL Template tab.
   The XSL Template|Search page appears.
3. Search for and select the template that you would like to alter. For more information, refer to General Configuration XSL Templates-Search Page and Performing Searches.
   The XSL Template|Edit page appears.
4. Search for the current chart output type (Shockwave Flash file) by pressing CTRL+F, entering .swf and clicking 'Next'.
5. Replace the current chart's file name with the file name of the new chart.

   Information To find all of the available chart types, navigate to the FusionCharts folder within the UI folder (e.g. C:\AudienceView\Builds\audienceview_5_1_1\UI\FusionCharts). All of the Shockwave Flash files are located here. For more information on the types of available graphs and charts, refer to AudienceView Charting Options.

6. Click 'Apply'
   A pop-up appears indicating that the XSL Template has been updated.
7. Click 'OK'.

Information The Bar2D.swf file will create a chart with horizontal bars. If you want to create a chart with vertical bars, select the Column2D.swf or Column3D.swf files.
