Adding a Background Image to the PDF Ticket Template

The background image for a PDF ticket template should be a .JPG. The file size should be as low as possible without reducing the image quality. The maximum file size should be between 150KB and 200KB.

To add a background image to the PDF ticket template, complete the following:

  1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Tickets tab.
    The Tickets|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the PDF ticket template that you want to add a background image to. For more information, refer to General Configuration Tickets-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Tickets|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Elements tab.
    The Tickets|Elements page appears.
  5. Click next to Element.
    The Element dialog box appears.
  6. Click 'Add Element'.

  7. Update the 'X Size' field to match the width of the background image in DPI (e.g. 850 for 8.5 inches).
  8. Update the 'Y Size' field to match the height of the background image in DPI (e.g. 1,100 for 11 inches).
  9. Enter 1 in the 'Depth' field.
  10. Click 'Attach File'.
  11. Click 'Browse'.
  12. Locate and select the background image that you want to use.
  13. Click 'Attach File'.
    A window confirms that the application attached the image.
  14. Click 'OK'.
  15. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the ticket template .
  16. Click 'OK'.
