Create a New Device Based on the Current Standard Ticket Template

To create a new device based on the current standard ticket template, complete the following:

  1. Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Tickets tab.
    The Tickets|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the standard ticket template that is used by your organization. For more information, refer to General Configuration Tickets-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Tickets|Basic page appears.
  4. Click 'Copy Device'.
    A copy of the device will be added to the devices section.
  5. Select PDF from the 'Device Type' dropdown.
  6. In the 'Stock Image' field, enter the path where the background image for the PDF ticket template has been saved (e.g. C:AudienceView/Image/PDFbackgroundimage.jpg).
  7. Select Letter Size Stock from the 'Stock Type' dropdown.
  8. Update the 'Width' field to match the width of the PDF background image. This is measured in DPI (dots per inch).
  9. Update the 'Height' field to match the height of the PDF background image. This is measured in DPI (dots per inch).
  10. Update the 'DPI' field with the appropriate dots per inch value.
    Hint
    The recommended settings for the above fields are as follows:
    • Width = 850
    • Height = 1,100
    • DPI = 100
  11. Click 'Apply'.
