Once you have created a hold type, you can delete the hold type at any time if the hold type is not currently in use and you have the appropriate permissions.

To delete a hold type, complete the following:

1. Open the Legends application from the AudienceView Desktop.
2. Select the Hold Types tab.
   The Hold Types|Search page appears.
3. Search for and select the hold type that you want to delete. For more information, refer to the Legends Hold Types-Search Page and Performing Searches.
   The Hold Types|Details page displays.
4. Click 'Delete'.
   A window prompts you to confirm the deletion of the selected hold type.
5. Click 'OK'.
   A window confirms that the application deleted the hold type.
6. Click 'OK'.
