The Find Orders Dialog Box

When you click next to an 'Order' field the Find Orders dialog box appears. You can use this dialog box to search for orders.

The Find Orders dialog box contains the following properties:

Field Description
Order Number Enables you to filter the search based on the order number.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Customer Number Enables you to filter the search based on the customer number.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Contact First Name Enables you to filter the search based on the first name of the customer associated to the order.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Contact Last Name Enables you to filter the search based on the last name of the customer associated to the order. Click  to add additional fields.
Performance Code Enables you to filter the search based on the performance code.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Series Name Enables you to filter the search based on the name of the series.
To add additional fields, click or press CTRL+TAB once you have made an entry.
Page Size Enables you to specify the number of records to display per page returned in the results.

To search for and select an order, complete the following:

  1. Enter the desired search criteria in the appropriate fields in the search orders group box.
  2. Click 'Search'.
    The system returns all of the orders matching your entered search criteria and displays them in the search results display box.
    If multiple pages of search results are displayed, you can use the '<< Previous' and 'Next >>' buttons to open the additional pages. 
    You cannot select items across multiple pages. If the two or more items that you want to select do not appear on the same page, you can:
    1. Increase the 'Page Size' to search again.
    2. Narrow your search by modifying your search criteria.
  3. Select the radio button beside the desired order.
  4. Click 'Apply'.
