Whether your ticket scanners will be using Internet Explorer or Symbol PocketBrowser to use Access Control, you must set the default home page.
To set your mobile computer’s home page, complete the following:
- Launch Internet Explorer.
- Choose an option:

- In the address bar, enter the web address to access Access Control. For example, https://[server]/gatemanagement where [server] is your domain or server name.
- Once the page loads, select 'Tools' and then click 'Options'.
- On the General tab, click 'Use Current'.
- Click 'OK'.

- Select the View menu and then click 'Internet Options'.
- On the General tab, enter the Access Control web address. For example, https://[server]/gatemanagement where [server] is your domain or server name.
- Click 'OK'.

The next time you open Internet Explorer or Symbol PocketBrowser, this page will open by default.
