Once your message is created and saved, you can schedule when the message is sent, either immediately, at a specific time or periodically by day, week or month. You are able to keep the message as a 'draft' and then wait until you want to send or schedule the message to be sent. You are able to ensure the message is not sent by ensuring that the 'Unscheduled' radio button is selected in the message schedule group box.
To schedule the message, complete the following:
- Open the Correspondence application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Messages tab.
The Messages|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the message that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Correspondence - Messages|Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Messages|Basic page appears.
- Select the Schedule or Deliver tab.
The Messages|Schedule or Messages|Deliver page appears.
- Click the appropriate scheduling option for your message by selecting the desired radio button from the Schedule Option radio buttons:
- Send Now: To send the message immediately:
- Click the 'Send Now' radio button.
The message will be sent once you click 'Apply'.
- Send Later: To send the message at a later specified time:
- Click the 'Send Later' radio button.
The 'Scheduled Time' and 'Start Date' fields appear.
- Select the desired hour and minutes for the time you want the message to be sent using the 'Scheduled Time' hour and minute dropdowns.
- Enter the date that you want the message to be sent in the 'Start Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Daily: To send the message daily at a specific time:
- Click the 'Daily' radio button.
The 'Scheduled Time', 'Start Date' and 'End Date' fields appear.
- Select the hour and minute that you want the message to be sent using the 'Scheduled Time' hour and minute dropdowns.
- Select date that you want the message to start sending using the 'Start Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Select the date you want the message to stop sending using the 'End Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Weekly: To send the message weekly at a specific time:
- Click the 'Weekly' radio button.
The 'Scheduled Time', 'Start Date', 'End Date' and 'Day of Week' fields appear
- Select the hour and minute that you want the message to be sent using the 'Scheduled Time' hour and minute dropdowns.
- Select date that you want the message to start sending using the 'Start Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Select the date you want the message to stop sending using the 'End Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Select the specific day of the week that you want to send the message on from the 'Day of Week' field.
- Monthly: To send the message monthly at a specific time:
- Click the 'Monthly' radio button.
The 'Scheduled Time', 'Start Date', 'End Date' and 'Day of Month' fields appear.
- Select the hour and minute that you want the message to be sent using the 'Scheduled Time' hour and minute dropdowns.
- Enter the date that you want the message to be sent in the 'Start Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Enter the date that you want the message to stop being sent in the 'End Date' field or click
to select a date.

- Select the specific day of the month that you want to send the message on from the 'Day of Month' field:
To select more than one day of the month, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections

To send the message on the last day of the month, select Last. |
- Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application has updated the message.
- Click 'OK'.
The message will be sent at the time that you have selected.
