Previewing a Message

Once your message is saved, you are able to preview the message in either full HTML or text formats. This will allow you to view the message as it would appear to the recipient. For more information, refer to Correspondence - Messages|Schedule Page.

Caution
To use the Preview functionality, you must have a message created and loaded into memory. Failure to have a message loaded will not allow you to preview the message. Failure to have a loaded and saved message in memory will result in validation errors on missing Subject, From and Send To values. Ensure that your message is not only saved but in memory to use this functionality.

To preview your message:

  1. Open the Correspondence application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Messages tab.
    The Messages|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the message that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Correspondence - Messages|Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Messages|Basic page appears.
  4. Select the Preview tab.
    The Messages|Preview page appears.
    The details of the message appear in the message details group box.  As well, the schedule sending for the message appears in the message schedule group box.
  5. To view the message in HTML format, click the 'HTML' radio button.
    The message displays in the message content group box in HTML format.
  6. To view the message in text format, click the 'TEXT' radio button.
    The message displays in the message content group box in text format.
