It is possible to layer a price chart over a performance's default pricing model, allowing you to apply new price values and discounts or to terminate the ability for a price type/price zone combination to be active. If you are going to layer price charts, you must first assign a pricing model on the Venue Configuration application Performances|Pricing page (refer to Modifying the Default Pricing Model for a Single Performance) or the Venue Configuration application Performances Management|Pricing page (refer to Modifying the Pricing Model for Multiple Performances).
When a price chart is assigned to a performance with an assigned pricing model, any new price zone values will override the existing ones. If a value is not entered for a particular price zone, the existing price will apply. If multiple price charts are layered, the price chart with the most recent assignment date will take precedence.

If the resulting value of a price zone is a negative number that price zone will not be available for sale.
When using percentages it is important to specify whether you are adding, subtracting or using a percentage of the orginal value.
