Changing the Default WebSales User Password

Before you can set the websales user password, you must first define a default password. You can do this using the websales’ user Application Security application Users|Basic page.

This password must contain at least the following:

  • Seven characters
  • One uppercase letter
  • One lowercase letter
  • One symbol
  • One digit

To change the WebSales user password, complete the following:

  1. Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Users tab.
    The Users|Select page appears.
  3. Search for and select the WebSales user. For more information, refer to Application Security Users-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The User|Basic page appears.
  4. In the 'Password' field, enter the default login password for the WebSales user.
  5. In the 'Confirm Password' field, re-enter the login password for the WebSales user.
  6. Click 'Change Password'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the password.
  7. Click 'OK'.
  8. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the applicaiton updated the user.
  9. Click 'OK'.

You have now modified the default WebSales user password.
