It is recommended that you create a distinct user for each AVTiki Facebook application, and two roles for each application if offers are being permitted (one 'purchase' role and one 'offer redemption' role). It is also recommended to save copy the Internet role when doing this, as using save copy will propagate the new roles to holds, payment/delivery methods automatically. This does not add new roles to price type limits, charge pricing, price charts or performance calendars.
Creating two roles will permit you to track sales separately from offer redemptions, as well as charge different service charge rates based on the Facebook purchase flow.
As with all offers, it is recommended that you set the 'Reservation Time Out' and 'Reservation Valid Until' default values against the newly created roles so that offers are not held until the 'Performance Start Time'.
Typical values would be:

Reservation Time Out: +1D (hold offer for one day from date/time of purchase)

Reservation Valid Until: -1D (hold offer no later than one day prior to event date/time - prevents seats from being held past 24 hours prior to event.)
These values can be overridden at the individual Venue Configuration application Performance|Calendar page.

To create the AVTikiPurchase and AVTikiRedeem roles, complete the following:

Open the Application Security application from the AudienceView Desktop.

Select the Roles tab.
The Roles|Search page appears.

Search for and select the Internet user. For more information, refer to Application Security Roles-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Roles|Basic page appears.

Change the 'Name' field to AVTikiPurchase.

Change the 'Description' field to User Role for AVTiki Purchases.

Click 'Save Copy'.
A window confirms that the role was created.

Click 'OK'.

Change the other fields where necessary, ensuring that you set 'Reservation Time Out' and 'Reservation Valid Until' values.

Select all of the available users in the 'Assigned Users' field.

Click '<<'

Select the Labels tab.
The Roles|Labels page appears.

Replace the English 'Display Label' with the same 'Name' defined in Step 4.

Click 'Apply'.
A window confirms that the application updated the role.

Click 'OK'

Repeat the process from Step 3 using AVTikiRedeem in the 'Name' field and User Role for Redeeming AVTiki Seats.
