AudienceView's Mail Merge plug-in enables you to extract tax receipt and thank you letter data and merge it into a pre-configured Microsoft Word template. Before you create Microsoft Word templates, you should install the Mail Merge plug-in on any computer that will be used to run the mail merge.
To install the mail merge plug-in provided by AudienceView, complete the following:
- On the computer(s) that will be used to create tax receipts and thank you letters, browse to the C:\AudienceView\Setup\Office Integration\Mail Merge folder of your AudienceView installation's root directory.
- Double-click MailMerge.msi (Windows Installer Package).
The AudienceView Mail Merge Setup Wizard appears.
- Follow the on-screen prompts to complete the installation.
By default, the application installs the plug-in and the required templates in the computers C:\AudienceView\Mail Merge Templates folder.
- Repeat the process on each of the computers that will be used to run mail merges.
