You can use this process in instances where your seat map image for the performance varies slightly from the actual venue. For example, the colour of the seats are different.
 | Caution The seating arrangement you define for a performance, cannot vary from the seating arrangement you define for your venue. If your venue’s seating arrangement varies, depending upon the performance type, you must define a separate venue for every seating arrangement. |
If you have the same seat map image for all performances, you can specify this image in the performances’ venue. For more information, refer to Associating Online Seat Map Images with Venues.
To associate an online seat map image with a specific performance, complete the following:
- Open the Venue Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Performances tab.
The Performances|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the performance that you want to work with. For more information, refer to Venue Configuration Performances-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Performances|Basic page appears.
- In the 'Alternate Overview Image' field, specify the relative directory of the seat map image.
- In the 'Alternate Overview X-Size' field, specify the width of the image, in pixels.

- In the 'Alternate Overview Y-Size' field, specify the height of the image, in pixels.

- Click 'Apply'.
Online users can now view this performance’s seat map. To enable users to select their own seats, refer to Associating Online Pick-a-Seat Images with Performances.
