Declining an Offer in the Desktop

Once a customer has an offer submitted to them and they decide to decline the offer, you can decline the offer on their behalf.

To decline the offer in the Desktop application on behalf of the customer, complete the following:

  1. Open the Customer Services application from the AudienceView Desktop.
  2. Select the Offers tab.
    The Offers|Search page appears.
  3. Search for and select the desired offer. For more information, refer to the Customer Services Offers-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Offers|Summary page appears with the desired offer displayed.
  4. Select Declined from the 'Status' dropdown in the offer summary section.
  5. Click 'Apply'.
    The offer is updated and the inventory on offer is released. Any admissions, bundles or miscellaneous items on offer are removed from the offer and are available for sale or other offers.
Caution
The behaviour currently described is expected behaviour. It appears at the time of writing that this behaviour is not existent. You may be required to manually remove the inventory from the offer. There is a defect posted for this issue.
