In some cases it may not be appropriate or desired to have the AudienceView Online respond to different screen sizes. Instead customers would have the same experience regardless of device being used. Because Twitter Bootstrap and the core AudienceView stylesheet use a mobile first approach, a number of baseline styles must be overridden to disable the site’s responsiveness.
To disable the site’s responsiveness, follow these steps:
-
Open the Content Management application from the AudienceView Desktop.
The Sites|Search page appears.
-
Search for and select the site that you want to work with. For more information, refer to the Content Management Sites|Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Sites|Basic page appears.
-
Select the Applications tab.
The Sites|Applications page appears.
-
Click 'Add META Tag'.
A meta tag row appears.
-
Select the 'del?' check box next to the viewport metatag.
-
Click 'Apply'.
-
A window confirms that the application updated the site.
-
Click 'OK'.
-
Add the attached non-responsive-branded.css stylesheet to your site brand configuration.
The
non-responsive-branded.css will ensure that regardless of the screen size, the AudienceView site will look and behave as though it is on a full-sized device greater than 1200 pixels wide.
