By default, customers are opted-in to receiving marketing emails from your organization. You can configure AudienceView so that every customer is not automatically signed-up to receive marketing emails.
To configure your system so that customers are automatically opted-out of receiving marketing emails, complete the following:
- Open the Registry application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Navigate to the Registry::EN::Business Objects::TScustomerBO::Customer::Customer Marketing Preferences node.
- Select No, do not send me information about promos! from the 'Default Value' field.
- Click 'Apply'
A window confirms that the application updated the Registry.
- Click 'OK'.
