Zones represent an area on either side of a gate. Gates are physical access points you can use to control movement between a gate’s from zone and to zone. Access to a particular zone is determined by scanning tickets using Access Control.
To configure venue zones, complete the following:
- Open the General Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
- Select the Lists tab.
The Lists|Search page appears.
- Search for and select the Venue Zones list. For more information, refer to the General Configuration Lists-Search Page and Performing Searches.
The Lists|Basic page appears.
- Optionally, add or remove zones from this list.
You can do this using the list’s General Configuration application Lists|Entries page.
- Optionally, change the order the zones appear.
You can do this using the list’s General Configuration application Lists|Basic page.
