Desktop Fixes

When admissions on an order are exchanged, the admission-level charges are removed and not replaced. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Charges are being applied correctly when admissions are exchanged on an order.		 AVD-2695
Rework the UI for extracting customers and assigning correspondence codes that was introduced in AudienceView 6.8.3 (AVD-3847) This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
A change was made to revert a change in AudienceView 6.8.3 in which users were required to perform a BI extract with correspondence codes via the Correspondence application.
Extracts with correspondence codes can now be performed via Business Intelligence. In addition, users are no longer required to select all of the results members to make a complete correspondence detail record on the customer. Instead, the system will warn users when result members are missing. Users can then choose to continue and create an incomplete correspondence record.
Changes to a BI query must be saved before an extract with correspondence codes is performed.		 AVD-5158
After updating a ticket template's 'Name' and 'Label' fields via the General Configuration application Tickets|Basic page, the values in the 'Ticket Template' dropdown on the Product Configuration application Miscellaneous Items|Details page does not get updated. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The ticket templates values are being incorrectly updated with the new 'Name'/'Label' values.		 AVD-5276

Removing an additional charge from an admission via the Customer Services application was not removing the tax on the charge.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Removing an additional charge from an admission now removes the tax on the charge.

Deselecting a seat and then selecting an alternate seat with a different price type on the Customer Services application Seats|Map page, generates an error message. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The error message no longer occurs when you deselect a seat and then selecting an alternate seat with a different price type on the Customer Services application Seats|Map page.		 AVD-5490
If users select a role other than the default role, the role will sporadically change back to the default, or the first role alphabetically if no default role is configured for that user. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
User roles no longer change during a seesion unless the user specifically selects a different role.		 AVD-5492
The 'Name' of the hold type does not appear in the black bar on the Customer Services application Seats|Map page when you hover over an agent hold. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.

Duration values 23 in length are incorrectly converted into date/time values. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.

Updating price charts that contain a large number of assigned performances causes the .asp pages to timeout and rollbacks. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The SQL queries used when loading price charts were optimized to improve the loading speed of the chart when there are large numbers of assignments.		 AVD-5614

When releasing multiple holds on the Customer Services application Seats|Map page, only the admission that was selected first is being released.  This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
You can now release multiple holds via the Customer Services application Seats|Map page. You can also deselect seats using Chrome by holding the ALT (preferrable) or SHIFT key.

Updating a gift's configuration (e.g. the appeal associated with the gift) via the Funds Management application, causes the gift to be updated on existing orders. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Gifts on existing order are not updated when the gift configuration is changed.

Updating price charts that contain a large number of assigned performances causes the .asp pages to timeout and rollbacks. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Warning Message #5590 has been removed from the application.
This warning message was displayed to Desktop users who updated the assignment of a price chart that was assigned to performances that had other price charts active in an overlapping date range. The queries necessary to generate the warning message were causing performance degradation, which outweighed the value of the warngin message. Removing the message will significantly improve response times when updating price charts.		 AVD-5930
When using the Utilities application Print|Order Print page to batch print tickets, some of the tickets are not displaying the correct performance start time. Instead they are displaying 12:00AM. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The primitive formatting code has been clean up so that the dates are being rendered correctly.		 AVD-6005


Online Fixes

When selecting a payment method on the orderContact.asp page, the payment method 'Label' is being displayed next to the radio buttons followed by the 'Name' in parenthesis.

Once a payment method has been selected, only the payment method 'Name' is displayed.		 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The payment method 'Label' is being displayed followed by the 'Name' in parenthesis only if the 'Label' is not unique.

When selecting a bundle, the date format displayed for the fixed elements appears differently than for the flexible elements. While these dates were are accurate it becomes confusingly inconsistent. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Both fixed and flexible elements are now displayed using the same format configured for the performance content display.		 AVD-5434

Result are not being displayed when you selected a date from the calendar widget.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The calendar widget has been fixed and the date selected is being displayed in the localized date format.		 AVD-5668


Business Intelligence and Reports Fixes

A system error occurs when the 'Address' and/or 'Email Message' on a scheduled report is more than 128 characters. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The number of allowed characters for the 'Address' and 'Email Message' fields has been increased from 128 to 512.		 AVD-3905
Using any date criteria with the Between (including both values) condition in a saved Business Intelligence query, causes the date fields to be rendered incorrectly when the query is loaded through the Business intelligence and Reports application Saved Business Intelligence|Saved Queries page. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The 'Date From' and 'Date To' fields are rendered as expected.		 AVD-4949
When running the Performance Order Allocation using an 'Allocation Date' of Today, IDispatch error #3092 (Invalid column name 'series_id'.) occurs This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The error no longer occurs when the Performance Order Allocation report is run with an 'Allocation Date' of  Today.		 AVD-5495

Correspondence codes are only being set on the first 1000 customers extracted through Business Intelligence.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The limit has now been removed so that the correspondence code is set on all of the customers returned through a Business Intelligence.		 AVD-5643

Payment Fixes

PayPal rollbacks are failing because Void is not supported.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
When a payment is made using PayPal, whether through Express Checkout or the order checkout, the payment is processed immediately. As a result, in a rollback situation, a Void cannot be used to reverse the payment.

AudienceView will instead use Refund as the method of reversal on PayPal Express Checkout and PayPal payments when a rollback occurs.		 AVD-5915

Data Management Fixes

TSTBavailableTerminalRecord is hardcoded to be read-only in the TSpaymentGatewayBO, which  prevents the setting of values from a Data Management control file.
This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Changes were made to support the use of the Data Managment utility to close terminal batches for gateways and acquirer combinations that do not support auto close.
 
This permits a scheduled task to run a script that closes the payment gateway batch at the end of the business day.

Access Control Fixes

Scheduler Fixes

There's a memory leak in the AVScheduler that consumes a lot of RAM.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The memory leak has been fixed and the RAM is longer be consumed.

Database Fixes

The encryptGUI.exe attempts to encrypt ts_payment_so table, but it no longer exists.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Deprecated tables are no longer called by the encryptGUI.exe process.		 AVD-5471
The output structure breaks all integrations This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
Localization in 6.8 affected the format of the XML and JSON output returned from the WebAPI so that certain values were not in the location expected. The format of the XML output returned from the WebAPI has been updated so that for integer, dateTime, duration, currency, fixedInteger and rate primitives, the standard, input and display formats of the value are all on the same output row. 
 
No change has been made to the JSON format at this time as there is an impact on core POS. If it is decided that changes are required to JSON format they will be considered at that time.

The database blocking has been minimized.		 AVD-5858
The TSguid primitives list is being retrieved twice, causing performance issues. This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.
The database load was reduced by eliminating the second look up.

WebAPI Fixes

The output for the DETAILS call has changed between AudienceView 6.3.X and AudienceView 6.8.X, returning invalid XML in the response.

 This has been corrected in AudienceView 6.8.5.

The DETAILS response structure has been fixed, making it compatible with the previous version (6.3.x).
