Assigning Price Charts to a Bundle

To assign a price chart to a bundle, complete the following:

  1. Open the Product Configuration application from the AudienceView Desktop.
    The Bundles|Search page appears.
  2. Search for and select the bundle that you want to assign a price chart to. For more information, refer to the Product Configuration Bundles-Search Page and Performing Searches.
    The Bundles|Details page appears.
  3. Select the Assignments tab.
    The Bundles|Assignments page appears.
  4. Click 'Add Assignment'.
    A new pricing assignment row appears.
  5. Enter the price chart in the 'Chart' field or click to search for the price chart.
    For more information, refer to The Find Price Charts Dialog Box.
  6. Select one of the following options from the 'Assignment' dropdown:
    • Bundle: The price chart will be applied to the entire bundle.
    • Element: The price chart will be applied to the selected element(s) in the 'Elements/Performances' field.
    • Performance: The price chart will be applied to the selected performance(s) in the 'Elements/Performances' field.
  7. If you selected Element or Performance from the 'Assignment' dropdown, select the element(s)/performance(s) that you want to apply the price chart to from the 'Elements/Performances' dropdown.
    To select more than one element/performance, hold CTRL or SHIFT while making your selections.
  8. Select one of the following options from the 'Pricing Method' dropdown:
    • Draw Down: Used for bundles where the exact performances/events are not known yet.
    • Addition: The value of the assignment will contribute to the total bundle price (e.g. if a team makes the playoffs).
    • Standard: The value of the assignment contributes to the fixed bundle price.
      Information
      Addition and Standard work in the same fashion, unless a Draw Down row is added to the bundle.
  9. Enter the date that you want the price chart to take effect in the 'Start Date' field or click to select a date.
    For more information, refer to Using a Calendar to Add a Date. If you do not enter a date, the system will automatically set it to the current date and time.
  10. Optionally, you can enter the date that you want the price chart to no longer be in effect in the 'End Date' field or click to select a date.

  11. For every price chart that you want to add to the bundle, repeat the process from Step 4.
  12. Click 'Apply'.
    A window confirms that the application updated the bundle.
  13. Click 'OK'.
